Café Lara

Cozy cafe sums things up nicely. Stopped in for a quick bite and some java. Avacodo on toast was very good, a long with the chocolate croissant. Drip coffee was excellent, although I think I should have tried the maple latte. Looks really good.

The folks were very inviting and accommodating. My mom and I were cruising down the street when we came across the cafe. (I appreciate when cafes have the word cafe in the name, makes it easier to spot if you are looking for places while driving). I had an iced decaf coffee, it was a nice refreshing coffee with little bitterness afterwards. My mom had a cappuccino. She was hers was delicious. The food was lovely, we both got a breakfast sandwich on a bagel. The atmosphere is a laid back, cozy vibe, but very trendy at the same time. It feels like a cafe for millennials. They even have board games which I wasnt expecting, but its a nice touch. When we went (summer time) there was indoor and outdoor seating. They also bring the food and drinks to you, which I was not expecting, it was nice. I will certainly be going back in the future!

My fav new cafe!! So close to my work. I wish the muffins were a bit bigger because they are sooooo good! Great service and atmosphere. Love the photos!

I visited Café Lara for the first time today, for brunch. I ordered the avocado toast, adding an egg on top and a latte with a shot of maple flavor. The staff were friendly and helpful. They brought the food right to my table. The food was delicious! Both were very flavourful, and I’d recommend if you enjoy a simple meal. The day I visited, almost all the tables were full, but service remained quick! There are plenty of tables and chairs, along with high top tables and stools. Options to choose from! There were a mix of folks in the café. Some were there to catch up and socialize; others were there to work; and some were just passing through, like me! The café is not strictly accessible, as there are two steps to get into the café. However, once inside it is manoeuvrable for folks without wheeled mobility devices, you can eat outside during the warm months. The café has tables and chairs outside. The restroom was spacious, accessible, and clean.

And then there's the gluten-free almond Bakewell tart - a true masterpiece in its own right. From the first bite, you're greeted by a symphony of flavours that dance across the palate.

Stopped by Café Lara and got an iced latte—absolutely incredible! Smooth, perfectly balanced, and refreshing. The café itself has such a welcoming and relaxed vibe, with a warm, friendly atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or settling in to work or chat, this place nails it. Definitely a new favorite spot!

Loved everything! Great atmosphere, and sweets! You can fill your own water (think beer tap for water). My wife had a Maple Latte. She said it was amazing! My "straight up latte" was sooooo good! The best coffee we've had in recent memory! Outside seating is comfy!

I really liked this place. I wanted to find a place I can get my work done and I definitely found it. I ordered a vanilla iced latte which was pleasant as it didn't have the bitterness taste of overcooked coffee and the perfect amount of sweetness from the vanilla sweetener. One concern though is the price. I didn't expect it to be that much for a cup of coffee however the atmosphere and the great tasting coffee makes it worth the price.
